Tamagotchi FAQ

Sometimes, people who want to make money like Bandai create virtual pets that almost copy the Tamagotchi. Often when buying on the internet, people say they are a Tamagotchi, when infact, they are not.

Ways to tell if a Tamagotchi is real:

• Three buttons
• The BanDai logo on the back of the Tamagotchi, and on the box somewhere
• Spelt "Tamagotchi", not "tamogotchi".
• Tamagotchi should be able to connect with other real Tamagotchis. Fakes generally cannot connect with real Tamagotchis
