why wont my tamagotchi's egg crack???

If you just started your tamagotchi wait 1 minute and the egg should crack. If you reseted it press (B) and pick RESET or DOWNLOAD from the menu. RESET will restart your tamagotchi from the 1st gen. DOWNLOAD will put your tamagotchi to the last major event. Example: Waking up, evolving, mating, ect.
