You have to wait 48h/72h (in adulthood) before them mating with another Tamagotchi. This is the same length you will have to wait if you are waiting for the matchmaker. Please note that if you pause your Tamagotchi, it might slow the time from when your Tamagotchis can mate, or when the matchmaker will come.
