Tamagotchi Version Three

Whenever I get a password from Tamagotchi Town, it doesn't seem to work in my Tamagotchi. Everytime I enter it, it says error. What's wrong?
Your Tamagotchi isn't accepting the passwords because your username on TamaTown is different from the one on your V3. They need to be the same for the passwords to work!
