Tamagotchi Version Three

Whenever I get a password from TamaTown, it doesn't seem to work in my Tamagotchi. Everytime I enter it, it says error. What's wrong?
Be absoulutely positive you are entering your username. If the problem still exists, try resetting your tama *please note this may and will cause loss of information* and choosing a different username. If the problem still persists, contact Bandai or the store you got your tama from and exchange Tamagotchi's.
