I was wondering, what is a golden tamagotchi? Is it a souveneir, item, an actual tamagotchi. What technically is it?
It's kind of both. There is a souveneir for your tama from Tamatown but you can't play with it on your tamagotchi. To win it on your v4/v4.5 you must due a scavenger hunt on Tamatown. There are more details in the toy shop.
Then there was also a real v3 tama that you could enter a raffle to win from Bandai. The real tamagotchi is very rare.
