There are three categories of skill points: Intelligence, Arts, and Social. Your Tamagotchi gets skill points by playing games and going to school. You can view how many skill points your Tamagotchi has in each category in the Health Menu. How many skill points you have and what category you have the most skill points in determines what adult character you're Tamagotchi will become and what job it will get. Jumping Rope and Mimic increase random amounts of skill points, Shape increases Intelligence, Dance increases Arts, and Flag increases Social.
