Is there a way to get my tamagotchi to lose weight?
There are a number of ways to lower your tamagotchi's weight.
You can play games, go to work (if your tamagotchi is an adult) or try your luck at the chest or genie lamp. (occasionally, your tamagotchi will be changed into a baby or an oldie and its weight will drop to base weight.
