(didn't enter the code so I don't know if my previous ? went through). My daughter's Tamagotchi went through 2 batteries in the first 1/2 hour she got it. She used it after we opened it and then the battery went dead. I figured since we had it for 2 months before opening it they were just old. Then we replaced it and about 15 minutes later it said the battery was dead. My other daughter already had a Tamagotchi for 2 months. We only went through 2 batteries in that time. The battery in hers happened to die the same day and we replaced hers and it only lasted 15 minutes. Maybe the batteries were old? I didn't notice an expiration date but I had just bought them. What brand of batteries are the best to buy? How long should they last? One more thing. Can it be turned off without "hurting" it, of course :) so I don't hear the beeping while she's at school...? I know there's a way to turn the sound off but I don't want it to "die" or something.... Can you turn it off so nothing changes when she is unable to take care of it when she's at school? I cannot get my kid's pets to visit each other. I have selected "visit" under the IR tab, and pointed the pets at each other with the tops facing each other, and it says "stand by" but nothing else happens. I have tried playing games and sending presents (wrapped) and still nothing. My son's pet is 3 yrs and my daughter's is 2 yrs. Are they just too young to visit each other or send presents? So what I did was that I took the battery out and put it back in. Then my Tamagotchi came back to life. Actually, again not a question, but I've managed to find 2 US Version 4s recently. I also have a Japanese Uratama tamagotchi. The Version 4 is more like the Japanese models but they will not connect to any US model. Version 4s also do not connect to Version 3s as a Version 3s, unlike the Uratama which can connect to previous Japanese tamagotchi versions as those versions (aka dekatama, entama, and the keitama). Lots of the new features of the Version 4 are like the Uratama in that your tama can go to school and get a job, as well as characteristic points et al. Still would like Bandai to make it connect to previous US versions (so I can get junk off my Version 3s) as well as Japanese Tamago-chis. You probably know about the Tamagotchi Station kiosks in Japan, which would be neat if US versions had them but alas. 		Answer

Both my daughter and I have had an egg with a star on the middle of it hatch on our screen while our tamagotchi watches. After that I tried to work again, he run, pass many shops, and stop in front of the flower shop (he work at the flower shop when he was adult), then he just stare to it, do nothin.
