(didn't enter the code so I don't know if my previous ? went through). My daughter's Tamagotchi went through 2 batteries in the first 1/2 hour she got it. She used it after we opened it and then the battery went dead. I figured since we had it for 2 months before opening it they were just old. Then we replaced it and about 15 minutes later it said the battery was dead. My other daughter already had a Tamagotchi for 2 months. We only went through 2 batteries in that time. The battery in hers happened to die the same day and we replaced hers and it only lasted 15 minutes. Maybe the batteries were old? I didn't notice an expiration date but I had just bought them. What brand of batteries are the best to buy? How long should they last? One more thing. Can it be turned off without "hurting" it, of course :) so I don't hear the beeping while she's at school...? I know there's a way to turn the sound off but I don't want it to "die" or something.... Can you turn it off so nothing changes when she is unable to take care of it when she's at school? I cannot get my kid's pets to visit each other. I have selected "visit" under the IR tab, and pointed the pets at each other with the tops facing each other, and it says "stand by" but nothing else happens. I have tried playing games and sending presents (wrapped) and still nothing. My son's pet is 3 yrs and my daughter's is 2 yrs. Are they just too young to visit each other or send presents? My tamagotchi (V3) said it had a low battery so I changed it. After an hour, it said it again, so I reset the tamagotchi. Then it was fine for a day, then it said it was low again. I keep having to reset it, but the battery is still good. Is there something wrong with my tamagotchi?		Answer

My Tamagotchi has a big "X" on the screen. I know that it means that the batteries are low, but I don't have any of the kind of batteries (CR2032 batteries). So what I did was that I took the battery out and put it back in. Then my Tamagotchi came back to life. Now my dad is ordering the batteries that is going to take 3 days to get here and I am scared that my tamagotchi is going to run out of batteries and then I have to start all over after many generations. Will all the memory still be in the tamagotchi when I get the new batteries? ~Thanks:)
